As the excitement builds for Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team is unveiling a formidable driver lineup. While the team will continue to rely on its regular drivers, Pascal Wehrlein and António Félix da Costa, it's bolstering its ranks with the addition of experienced test and reserve drivers André Lotterer and David Beckmann.

André Lotterer, a veteran of Formula E, will bring a wealth of experience to the team. However, Lotterer's primary commitment in 2024 will be the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) campaign with the Porsche Penske Motorsport team, piloting the Porsche 963. Lotterer's Formula E journey began in style with Porsche, securing second place at the championship's debut race in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, in November 2019. Reflecting on his career, he stated, "After 26 years in single-seater racing, I have decided to close this chapter of my career and concentrate on the challenge of winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship with the Porsche 963. At the same time, I'm excited to continue supporting Porsche with my Formula E experience."

David Beckmann, a young talent at 23, will continue his role as a test and reserve driver for the Porsche works team in Formula E. Beckmann has already gained valuable experience with the Porsche 99X Electric, making his Formula E debut in June during the doubleheader event in Jakarta as a reserve driver for the Porsche customer team Avalanche Andretti. His versatility was evident with a class win in the Oreca-07 at the 1000 Miles of Sebring, marking a successful start to the FIA Endurance World Championship season in Florida. Beckmann expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, "I'm looking forward to continuing my work with Porsche and supporting the team in this challenging and diverse racing series. It's a great job. I can better familiarize myself with the Porsche 99X Electric and gain crucial experience for further career steps in Formula E."

Adding to the team's strength is Gabriela Jílková, who joins as a simulator and development driver. Despite being a rookie, Jílková participated in the pre-season tests in Valencia in October, demonstrating her dedication and potential to contribute to the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team's success.

Florian Modlinger, Director of Factory Motorsport in Formula E, spoke highly of the team's latest additions, saying, "Next season, our team will benefit from André's wealth of Formula E experience. With David, we also have a young driver that we know well. He can also support us with the skill and experience he gained with our Porsche 99X Electric."

As the team looks ahead to Season 10, the combination of seasoned talent and promising newcomers promises to make the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming championship. With the electric racing series evolving year by year, the team's commitment to innovation and excellence remains unwavering, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive season ahead.
