Charles Leclerc and Alex Albon Join Forces with EA SPORTS for Epic Virtual Race in Monaco
In a thrilling intersection of motorsports, football, and digital entertainment, Formula 1® drivers Charles Leclerc and Alex Albon are set to compete in EA SPORTS’ highly anticipated sim racing event, 'The 10 Racers'. This exciting event will take place just ahead of the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2024, promising fans an unforgettable virtual racing experience.
Leclerc and Albon will go head-to-head against global football stars Diogo Jota and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, alongside popular content creators WillNE, Chesnoid, Liam Kalevi, AverageF1Consumer, MaximeMXM, and ElReyGuiri. These ten competitors will race around the legendary streets of Monaco in the new F1® 24 video game, set to be released on 31 May.
A Star-Studded Event
The event is scheduled for today, Wednesday 22 May, at 19:00 BST (20:00 CEST, 14:00 ET) and will be live-streamed from Monaco on Formula 1’s official YouTube channel. Hosting the event are Naomi Schiff, former W Series driver and current Sky Sports presenter, and P1’s Matt Gallagher. This competition marks the beginning of an action-packed weekend of real-life and virtual racing excitement in Monaco.

F1® 24 promises to deliver the most realistic gaming experience yet, thanks to the new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling feature. This enhancement will provide players with unparalleled precision control, whether they’re using a wheel or a controller. The game also boasts a revamped ‘Career’ mode and improvements to some of the most iconic circuits on the F1 calendar.
